9. There will be an automatic recount if the margin is less than 0.5%.
And since it's looking like the margin is just that slim, the results won't be official for several days. Recounts are conducted by hand in MN. Thankfully, we can expect that the results won't change by more than a few votes either direction, as our scanners tend to be pretty accurate the first time around.

36. I think the SOS site is behind simply because of technology. CBS seems to have the most updated info

at least after looking at many sites/networks it seems to be the case... good details on this.

39. I think Al is going to win this one
He's up in St. Louis county by 25,000 votes with 84% reporting...

Leading by 2:1 in Carlton county with 87% reporting...

He's also up in counties, where he is leading by smaller margins...

He can add several thousand votes to his lead in these counties and win.

41. The Duluth area, a huge swath of it, is blue
and it has a ways to go before it reaches 100% Much of the rest of the state is already counted.

Franken should take MN, plus we'll get OR and AK. Hopefully Chambliss will drop below 50% for a revote. We could get 60 yet.

45. No, but Georgia's city centers, blue, are still being counted
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 04:06 AM by lebkuchen
so hopefully we won't need the 2 million missing to get a revote. Chambliss has to drop below 50%, and I'm pretty sure he will.

Then Obama can send all his lawyers to Georgia for the revote.

I don't know what can be done about 2 million missing right now, but that would make Chambliss's percentage drop all the more paramount. I think he'll go under.

Check out the percentage of vote counted so far. It's looking good for blue as far as a revote goes.
