Perhaps it's time to change my tagline.
In 2004, after a second election debacle, I changed my tagline to 'Bitter, and proud of it.' I've kept that tag line ever since, because it embodied my outrage at what was being done to the reputation of the nation I love.

Tonight, after an election whose results are too overwhelming to be believably stolen, I feel ready to change that tag line.

Thank you Democratic Underground. And welcome back, my beloved United States of America.

1. I changed my avatar today from "war is peace bush/orwell" for the same reason.
