My niece just called me and said a woman driving in front of her
has a "Texans for Kerry" bumper sticker on her car. Yeah! I told her to give her a . She asked me why, I said because we liberals like to greet each other among all the dumbass '04 vehicles around town. Although, I have yet for someone to give me a  for my No Bush bumper sticker.:-(

1. I gave an old man with a Kerry bumper sticker a thumbs up the other day...
In rural Virginia, but I fear he just thought I was a freak.

3. LOL! Oh well.
I thought about that too, that some people may not know what's up but hopefully once they arrive home and think about why the  was given to them, they will realize it eventually.

5. So have I.
One guy shouted from his open car window into my open car window - "I LIKE YOUR STICKERS!" I shouted an "I WANT YOUR STICKERS" at a guy in a pickup truck (who had a "bush KNEW" from "From the Wilderness" - which I'd been searching for) and his response to me was "I HATE that guy!!!"

It's good to give a big smile or thumbs-up to fellow travelers with Kerry or anti-bush stickers. Positive reinforcement. Makes 'em feel good, AND justified. Reminds 'em that they are HARDLY alone.

with an "Elect Bush" sticker and I was about to punch him in the nose when I looked again and saw it was "EJECT Bush". So I gave him a thumbs up instead of a nose job.

8. I saw a bumper sticker
yesterday that almost made me ill. On an older suburban type vehicle, on the back window, under the bush/cheney sticker, was a sticker with the image of a rifle. Under the image was the words,-Wolf Management Tool-.

Those damn people don't even deserve this earth, yet they claim to own it.

'Guns don't kill people, Abortion kills people'

wtf ? :wtf:

Whenever I see someone with a Kerry/Edwards or pro-Dem sticker, I give 'em a  and point to the back of my car, which has 2 of same so they know what I'm referring to.

.....in fact there are dems who are opposed to abortion and favor gun control...and dems who are pro choice and oppose gun control.

15. ick
There are two anti-choice stickers that bug the shit out of me:

1. If it's not a baby, then you're not pregnant

Which confused me the first time i saw it. And I thought, fine. I'm not pregnant. So, I am not aborting anything. So go away.

2. Be pro-life. You're mother was.

And I'm like, Fuck you. Me mum's as pro-choice as they get. I borned in '75. She CHOSE to have me you numbskull.

10. Clearly Conservatives have no sense of humor...
The Bush bashing bumper stickers are much funnier than any of the anti-Kerry stickers. I wish I was a bit better with the computer to be able to cut and paste pictures, but I'm not so I'll just type out my all time favorite to date:

Hemp is a plant
Bush is a dope

21. LOL! That's a good one.
You should visit www.cafepress.com, some here say that you can create your own bumperstickers and they'll print them for you.

with my "Defend America/Defeat Bush" sticker (among others), I was greeted with a honk and waves from a car with six white-haired grannies. I was thrilled!

14. Replace negative * with pro-Kerry
If you send a negative suggestion, people may respond, but not in the way you hope.

FOR TOO LONG, WE HAVE LET THIS ELECTION BE "NOT BUSH."

What if we had a bumper sticker like this:

Kerry/Edwards '04

If we did that, we might see more thumbs up!

Just a suggestion.

I haven't gotten one yet though. :( I did see someone in a parking lot with a Kerry sticker and hollered at him, he seemed happy that I did too.

so that's why. It's nice little liberal utopian/buffer zone that protects my psyche from the rest of the state's crap

20. Driving up the freeway last week...
I live in northern California, and have really been surprised at the lack of pro-shrub bumper stickers this year. Four years ago they were everywhere!

Last week I had to leave work early and go up the freeway to pick up my son from school - something that I normally don't have to do. On the way out of my work parking lot, I noticed a new Prius with a Kerry sticker on it. Up Hwy 50 a ways, I see a car with another Kerry sticker on it - as I pass them and give a  out the window, I notice it's an older couple. As I glanced back at them as I passed to see if they noticed, I see the woman passenger clapping her hands in glee, and just beaming! Another couple miles up the road, I see yet another Kerry sticker. Again I give a  as I pass to the younger woman driving - she grins and gives it right back. :D And then one more car had a Kerry sticker - but it was abandoned at the side of the road. :(

The kicker - I didn't see a single pro-* sticker on that whole trip. Gotta love that!
