I was completely wrong about two things
1) A black man could never win a presidential election in this country in my lifetime.

2) The person who runs the most negative campaign always wins.

And I am so glad to be wrong on both accounts. Anything is possible and the sky is truly the limits.

AMEN

2. Me too!
I didn't think "in my lifetime", but I definitely underestimated my fellow Americans in thinking they would not elect a black man at this time in American history.

I also thought Obama was being too nice to McCain.

I am very happy to be wrong with you, this time! :patriot: :toast: :patriot:

3. I'm glad to be wrong too!
I always thought Obama would get the votes, but was sure they were going to steal it somehow!

4. I know what you mean!
In 1989, my father sat watching the news, amazed. He said, "I never thought I'd live to see the Soviet Union fall."

You are absolutely right: Anything is possible! And isn't that great? :)

6. I was absolutely wrong.
I did not think Obama was electable. When he won the nomination, I predicted a McCain win. I am very happy to be wrong!
