Public Service: Beware WashPost Poll Tonight.

There is a new WashPost ABC poll coming out tonight. After ABC, this poll is usually the worst for the Dem ticket. So steel yourselves, people, for some hurtin'.

I don't want to get bad numbers, but I have a feeling in my gut they'll be bad. I also think that the "bad numbers" will be entirely an artifact of the likely voter model. But it will still be bad and we have to do a gut check.

I just want people to not panic. I've seen so much panic in Dem circles the last few weeks, I figure its good to steel one's self.

It doesn't do to have people come here and see us running around like chickens with our heads cut off.

6. I'm taking it to the streets

on Saturday. Door to door, to identify democrats in my part of Northern Virginia. I think if Kerry had a ten point led in the polls, I'd probably spend the morning lounging around on DU or KOS.

So it is good to be (apparently) behind.
