Texans For Truth vs. Swift Boat Liars

We have all heard that a group called Texans For Truth are coming out with a commercial that calls into question Bush's service, or lack of, in the AANG. This commercial has a former Alabama guardsman commenting on how he and others who were serving in Bush's Alabama unit at the time that Bush was supposed to be there never saw Bush. Not once. That commercial is a fair criticism. No one can prove that he WAS there. But some in the media are comparing this new group to the Swift Boat Liars group, and THAT IS UNFAIR. The swift boaters have been outed as the liars and smearers that they are. Their stories have been picked completely apart and, as a result John Kerry's version of events have been proven to be completely factual. But on the other hand, neither the White House, Bush, the Pentagon or any other agency or individual can or has come up with any evidence to disprove the damaging charges of incomplete service, preferential treatment or his complete disappearance in Alabama. Thus, you cannot compare the swift boaters to Texans for Truth.

They release their ads after news reports are released PROVING that Bush was AWOL, unlike the smearboat ads which just came outta left field and were quickly discredited.
