That Kerry DODGED questions about Bush National Guard. The story is supposed to be about Bush getting help to get into the Guard - but instead they focus on Kerry DODGING questions. The use of the word Dodge was deliberate and just......vile.

but this is constructive: there is a difference between oration on the senate floor, between speaking on a talk show, in a debate or in a stump speech.

John Kerry needs to learn this most critical thing about speechifying: you have to keep your sentences short. You have to have memorable points. You have to have really good memes. You have to vary your intonation, inflection and emphasis and entertain our ears and get our pulses racing. You have to be "inspired".

If you can't effectively call us to action, if you deliver a eulogy instead of a battle cry, you will certainly fail to entertain the people who love to entertain us with news, and they will let you know it.
