HA! Did you hear the Faux Spin on Smirks AWOL?
Honest, I really heard a Faux talking head state that Bush was helping the TANG by not performing his duty during the time in question. His reasoning? The Vietnam war was waning at that time, and we had to many trained pilots, so Bush was helping by not being around so there was one less for the TANG to keep up with.

I am not lying!

Started my day off with a hoot.

My roomate actually said that he ate a whole bunch of my stuff one weekend while I was away because he needed to clean the fridge.

This reminds me of that.

That I heard Sean Hannity say he was flying secret Stealth bomber missions! By the way, if TANG had too many pilots, and there was nowhere else to ship him, why didn't he volunteer for a desk job?

over in 'Nam. I am sure there were F 100 and F 4 squadrens that could have used him.

22. Hard to fly anything when your "Flight Status" has been stripped
because of disobeying orders. He wasn't saving the Guard because he was not a pilot any longer. He took the state of Texas for a half million dollar ride. They trained him and then he quit. Should he have to repay the state of Texas for training expenses. He did sign paperwork saying he would fulfill all obligations and then did not do so.

11. CNN Political news right now....
Kerry talks war, economy

Polls: Bush ahead in Missouri, Ohio

Lawsuit uncovers Bush Guard records

Nothing to reveal anything wrong with Bush's records. What horrendous spin by CNN. And a headline that Bush is ahead in a few states? What about Kerry, is HE ahead in some states?

The powers that be are sh*tting their pants, and overheating trying to get past this Bush disaster with spin that will break anyone's neck. The RNC was spun so that Bush was a war hero, and Kerry was a traitor. That's the most Orwellian I've seen anything in a long time...and a sense mass hysteria by those supporting Bush.

I can only guess there will be a huge sign of relief when Kerry wins, because the 'Bushies' won't have to defend their loser any more.

29. Call CNN to complain about biased TANG coverage: (404) 827-1500
CNN is on my speed dial now: (404) 827-1500 or public.information@cnn.com

I called several times already. My points:

1. CNN's total failure to state that White House had these memos all along, and had withhehld them in spite of repeated prior requests. In other words, CNN covered up the COVER UP.

2. CNN completely omitted that memo revealed Bush suspended from flight status for disobeying DIRECT ORDER and FAILURE TO PERFORM UP TO ANG STANDARS. No mention made by CNN that this is the new important info and is contrary to the WH's prior statements (that Bush just missed his medical exam).

3. CNN completely failed to raise the issue as to WHY BUSH DID NOT TAKE MEDICAL EXAM. They did not acknowledge or pull this thread.

4. Slammed Ben Barnes right out of the gate..."and Ben Barnes, a DEMOCRAT from Texas" with heavy emphasis on Democrat. And stronly emphasized White House spin that this is a politically motivated attack. (And where was the equal castigation for O'Neill and his connections?)

5. As usual, CNN presented only one poll, which conveniently shows a Bush lead. No mention made of polls where Kerry leads.

he should have enlisted and done SOMETHING anyway.
Besides, there was plenty of room for one more - especially in 68 and 69.

they are past masters at deception, spin, half truths, outright lies. To put out something that lame must be making Lee Atwater roll over in his grave.

21. Giving Bush's abilities to do anything, I would partly agree
Regardless of what it is, it's no doubt better for all concerned if Bush sits down, shuts up and does nothing. Whenever he acts, he screws things up.

I'm sure the TANG was better without him.
