When the repubs lose today let's all learn from their mistakes
Just read an article joe the plumber was pulled over for speeding.

Mistake number one that the repubs kept making this entire election was bringing people in to the national stage with out veting them.

It went all the way from "joe the plumber" at the bottom to the freaking VP pick at the top. It shows horrible judgement on the part of mccain. What fool makes a complete stranger his personal mascot? What if joe the plumber ended up having 10 corpses in his basement rather than just being a liar and now fool who can't follow the speed limit?

I am only glad mccain won't be in the office of the president making these kinds of idiotic choices.

4. One of the main mistakes of the Republican party, aside from general ideological stupidity
was that they allowed their success in capturing power to corrupt them instantly. It's not surprising though because their ideology preaches greed as a holy virtue. Everything was for sale and their leadership did nothing to police the rank and file. They set the example themselves from the top. And if the Repuke leadership ever thought that they might need to clean things up in their own party in order to hold onto power, the thought must have come too late.

We must not repeat that mistake now that we have the power. Putting off reckoning with corrupt members may seem politically smart at the moment, but it is politically stupid in the long run. We must watch our own like the enemy.
