run ads saying that Bush's tax-cuts weakened our military and led to the attack on the World Trade Center, run ads slamming Bush as an unpatriotic AWOL traitor who dodged serving his country because of help from his father, run ads linking Bush to his drug use and pointing out that he supports executing those who sold him these drugs, slam Bush as an advocate big government and high taxes, and run ads linking Bush and Congress to abolishing Social Security and Medicare. Run ads linking Republicans to their broken promises of passing term limits. Paint Bush as a waffler on the abortion issue, and show that he ordered the mass murder of children. Run ads linking Bush to a Constitutional Amendment that would make Saddamn Hussein and bin Laden eligible for President of the United States.

Run ads that paint Bush as being unfaithful to his wife and the voters, run ads linking Republicans to cuts in military pay and health benefits, and ads that link Cheney to outsourcing and the firing of honorable service men and women in uniform. Run ads linking no child left behind to cuts for education and support for a national test. Run ads that show that Republicans support discrimination against the disabled and against workers who went to college on student loans, run ads linking Bush to his proposal to sell Michigan, Ohio, New Hampshire, and Minnesota to Canada if Quebec becomes independent.

If Republicans have taught us one thing, the truth is not important to winning elections.
