1. He needs to go to bed
Stumbling over words. Confused. Obviously in a haze. And Lindsey Graham looks positively DEFEATED.

4. John McCain, the most awkward man in America. It's painful to watch him in action.

5. I agree that he looks deflated, totally defeated.
The words coming out of his mouth (i.e., he's going to win) belie his physical demeanor. He's hoarse, he looks tired, and knows he's lost the election.
Just my two cents.

14. After seeing McCain just now, along with Cindy, Lieberman, Graham,
and company, I don't think "the fix is in," and that he is really admitting defeat, and that we will really, truly, honestly win.

I'm getting goosebumps and about ready to cry.

13. And the awful joke about bear DNA
Not even the Repukes laugh anymore. You'd think with his return to his home state he'd be a little lighter.

18. Are you quoting verbatim?
Did he actually use those words, "Blah de blah"?

If so, I'm sorry I missed it - that's the most coherent thing he's said since he was nominated.

So Nance misses yet another once-in-a-lifetime moment, because she was too busy on DU to see history in the making.

Isn't that just the story of my pathetic life ...

I think Obama will be declared the winner fairly early this evening.

PS. Thank you, Drunken Irishman, for starting this thread.
