Take a break....Smoke 'em if you got 'em...
:) Slow down and take a deep breath. I think we got these crooked lying bastards on the defensive....At least, we got 'em thinking. I think they are truly worried. They have shot their best shot with the Swift Boat ads and their character assassination attempts, as with Cheney yesterday, and Kerry is still sitting right in the middle of this race. He is not conforming to the wishes of the Bush campaign nor the cable news networks...He is a threat to them. This is a formidable enemy - not just George Bush - but the entire apparatus. It will not be easy. Save a little energy for the final lap. :)

1. *sigh*
I think I'll have a cup of tea.

Honestly, dems are the wussiest bunch of nit-picking belly-button-staring scairdy-cats in the political universe. That's what I've learned every time Kerry does/doesn't/shouldn't/wouldn't/couldn't do any damned thing imaginable.

Thanks, kentuck, your posts are always sane and welcome. I want YOU in my foxhole! :kick:

9. How Do You Think Democrats Got That Way?
With what they did to us in the 2000 and 2002 elections,
With most of the broadcast and cable media eating out of Karl Rove's hand and our candidate all but banished from the airwaves,
With Boosh leading in the polls despite having screwed up *everything* he ever touched,
With the promised "October Surprise" hanging over our heads,
(will it be another MIHOP, or will they simply murder our candidate as they did in 1968?)
With Jeb ready to steal our votes in Florida,
With Diebold ready to steal our votes wherever we are,
How can you not be scared?
:scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:

Note that I did not mention Kerry by name above, because it really isn't about Kerry.
Every Democrat running for office now faces these problems.

We are fighting harder than ever this election, because we know that if we lose it's all over.
This is our last chance to get our country back. The wolf is at the door.

10. As my nephew says
when he gets bullied by the bigger kids, "Sometimes you just gotta suck it up."

I want him in my foxhole too.

Everybody gets scared. Not everybody yaks about it out loud all the time.

2. Do we have to take a breather?
I was enjoying the pummeling that GWB was taking at the hands of the Dems. After a solid month of Kerry on the ropes, I was really enjoying the comeback.

hear Kerry say "W is for Wrong" and have Ben Barnes coming forward, very interesting TANG documents on "60 minutes" tonight. Yes, hope is on the way!

We're hanging in there and we SHALL overcome!

6. You guys are doing a fantastic job on this forum you know..
its okay to take a break once in a while, the people are hearing, they are becoming more involved, the only way Bush can win this is to steal it and I am completely sure that Kerry and company are keeping an eye on that side show as well...

Faith everyone....I promise you, dispite the media's obvious bias towards anything not BUSH, too much has leaked through, they could not stop it all, too many still out of work, too many paying much higher health insurance costs, too many terrified of losing SS and the list goes on....

Relax, it's in the bag, Kerry is by far not a poor man, nor is his wife a poor woman, don't forget the Kennedy's they have wealth and power too, it will all come together in the end, there are many who do not need payoffs and the like...

7. I Think Some Are Shellshocked Here...
How many times do some of us post how this is a marathon...not a sprint. Having Kerry even or slightly ahead at this point...after all the 70 million dollars plus of GOOP money that was tossed around in August is extremely promising.

Yep, Kentuck, they shot their wad. They thought they could "Gore" Kerry with labels like "Flip-Flop" and then slime his military and congressional record...eventually discrediting anything he says or stands for. They did this very effectively to Gore, but Kerry isn't Gore and this isn't 2000.

We really haven't seen this regime campaign on the defensive. We've seen them in CYA mode...and it's led to some of their most serious errors (Plamegate, Abu Gabril, the first AWOL fiasco) and recovered poorly. They claim they played rope-a-dope for months and have just begun to hit back. Many here didn't know how hard these bastards hit and how powerful they are. The great news is we took this body shot full force and are still standing very strong.

The object now is to force Bunnypants to deny, deny, deny. Deny that all this stuff about his military past is true. Deny he didn't dessert. Deny he didn't do coke at Camp David. Deny he didn't lie about the reasons for the war. Deny he didn't lie about the tax cuts for the rich. Once you start this game, and you keep them on the defensive, Bunnypants now lays bare to all kinds of attacks and remains on the defensive.

Now's the time to prepare for the big finish. But this means gut check time as well. These bastards are far from finished and will give up power only when they're dragged out of the White House. I have no regrets and will never have any remorse for anything done by Kerry or his allies to remove this regime...none!!

Cheers!
