http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/11/todays-polls-113-pm-edition.html

Obama is predicted to carry all of the Kerry and Gore states, leaving him a mere 6 EV shy of a win, 5 EV shy of a tie. Thus Obama would need only one of the following: Colorado, Virginia, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri and Indiana.
Meanwhile, in order for Mc:nuke: to win, he would need ALL of them. In short, that is an all but impossible feat for him to perform.

Any "Bradley effect", if it exists, is likely to be offset by both the overlooked new voters and the cellphone voters, both of whom heavily favor Obama.

5. I am so nervous!!! Thanks for sharing, it made me feel a little better.
I'm extremely nervous about tomorrow. My husband is convinced it will be Obama, but I don't trust the repugs and their "tricks".

16. Maybe write a book about polling?
I'd like to see something comprehensive from him on how the polling system works and the flaws with the different pollsters.

13. Gosh.. and Liz "McCain" Sidoti of AP's analysis says that it could turn out like 2000!
Yep. She went there. Said it's very possible Obama could win the popular vote and lose the electoral college because of "polls tightening in McCain's favor in Swing States".

The AP is outdoing themselves this year (as is Yahoo which highlights these "analysis" pieces by reporters, not analysts. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081103/ap_on_el_pr/split_decision
