Ok, please. Has a candidate ever LOST because they had a big lead
and people were complacent?

Obama has a helluva a groundgame, which many of us are a part of. They are taking nothing for granted, nothing for chance.

Has a candidate ever gone into Election Day with a clear lead in the polls, National and State and LOST due to complacency?

3. And, we won't.
That is my point. Obama and his team have worked their asses off to get here, and they are re-doubling their effort now.

No one is getting complacent.

2. It's just prudence.
No reason to really worry about complacency.

This election's been over for days.

4. If this ever happened, it was probably a local election
Before there were accurate polls.

It does seem to be an article of faith on DU, though.
