1. Actually, you make a good point.
It would be quite satisfying to watch him grimace through an Obama victory.

I'm so glad I don't have to see that slime-bag frothing at the mouth anymore.
Even watching him choke on his whiteboard wouldn't be worth it.

9. That's Bad!....... Well Not Really,
I Would Wanted To See Him Have To Do It As Well. I would have loved to see him and several others eat their words. Tim was no friend to democrats, I don't care what some of his associates say. As far as I'm concerned he was an enabler to this administration as well as the republican cabal in the house and senate.

12. Actually, during the primaries, he was seemingly pro-Obama
He was the first prominent pundit to "call" the primaries for Obama (the night of Indiana and North Carolina). He's the one who said "it is over. Obama is the nominee."

...and he talked about the historical nature of it.

I actually think Russert was secretly pulling for Obama to win this thing.

20. I don't think so.... he spoke a LOT abotu the historical aspect of Obama's candidacy...

....and I think he would be jazzed as hell about this election.

Deep down, he was a pro-union, pro-middle-class guy.

I think.... like Colin Powell.... he experienced a "conversion" this year.

18. I hope you're not disrespecting him
Remember when it was certain Obama would be a nominee, he said he was glad to be alive at this point in American history to see an African-American candidate for President

27. I can't say he would have
But I won't exclude the possibility.

If you had told last spring me that Colin Powell, Scott McClellan and Julie Nixon Eisenhower, among others, would be supporting Obama now, I'd have called you nuts.

24. I am sad Tim Russert is gone, He was a democrat.
I miss him. I miss him doing "Meet the Press". He was very emotional about Obama and this historic moment. He said on air how happy he was for inner city kids seeing this moment in time.

He did so much good work in the world outside of his work on NBC. He showed a passion about politics and enthusiasm that was contagious for others. His funeral showed the tremendously strong amount of love and care and respect he fostered in his lifetime.
He was a good man, whether you agree with him or not, he brought good to this world. For that, I applaud him.
I wish he were here to see Obama get elected. He told Brian Williams that on "Meet the Press" people always dodge questions. When he asked Obama if he was going to run for president and Obama said yes, it floored Tim. He really believed that Obama was an authentic person and he respected that.
I have missed his coverage, he was very excited about this election. It would have been fun to see the joy in him covering all this.

28. Don't you think MSNBC will front the $ for a big white board for Luke?
I think they will make Like the new white board guy, maybe to Luke and his mother.......a big tearful moment on MSNBC.

It's total theatre all the time on MSNBC.

I can take it, I liked Tim, I like Luke, (I know, he's not qualified, just a kid)... but he's cute.

Go ahead, slam me for being an over age gay guy who likes smart young men who have the power to make their life if they work hard.
