1. WAFB in Baton Rouge has censored it
We're being shown a four-year-old St. Jude special at the moment. Their phone is off the hook and they're not answering emails.

This afternoon they'd assured a member of our local peace group that 60 Minutes would be shown.

Here's their programming director's email:
kkedroske@wafb.com

Here's their off the hook phone number:

1-225-383-9999.

Support us as we let these local Right-wingers with a station and a responsibility to show the news what we think of their abuse of the public trust!

5. Great Show
It was the lead story and covered the first 18-20 minutes. Very credible w/documentation to back up additional info. GOP's spokesman Barnett looked nervous and continued the slime business.

I'm sure this will get more play over the next few days....Hopefully there will be a transcript up & available for all to see!

12. Dallas--they had Duvall listed, but showed Ben Barnes segment.
Didn't watch the rest to see if there was a Duvall segment.

Not that it matters much here :eyes: I thought it was pretty damning.

21. Northeast Pa. went off as soon as Rather started interview
CBS was back on exactly 1 hour later. No other channels off. No reception problems prior to 60 Minutes and after CBS was back on. I will be calling the local affilate tomorrow to get to the bottom of this. As of now it was either the local affilate (WYOU) or Adelphia cable. The fix was in here, no doubt about it!

23. Northeast PA -- local CBS affiliate WYOU (adelphia cable)
60 minutes started on time, they had the usual opening 'snippets' about the stories they were going to cover, cut to commercial, back to the program for a few seconds - then KABOOM - nothing but static - off the air

At first I thought maybe it had something to do with the storm (Hurricane Frances's last gasps coming through the area, tree down knocking out the cable maybe?) - but a quick flick of the remote showed ALL OTHER STATIONS were still on the air and coming in fine

After 10 minutes of watching "fuzz" - I went to bed (we are leaving for a road trip early in the morning). Tried to get through to WYOU (local CBS affiliate) - but lines were busy.

24. We need to make noise about this.
Before the advent of the internet they could get away with this shit, but not today. We need to do something, because we know the fix was in here. Notice that many of the stations that censored it were battleground states?

We have to act, this is getting out of hand.
