Tweety: It's OVER for Kerry if Cheney's statement stands
just said it

called Kerry an automaton

ripping his lack of spontaneity

Lois Romano: Kerry is NOT a likable person

total ripfest on Kerry

AND Edwards....tweety says, the worst Edwards can do is SUE them!!!!

also, Tony Blankley

this is as bad as I've seen

Not much about how scurrilous the words were; only its political effectiveness

Roger Simon said the theme of the convention was "Vote for Bush, or DIE"

that's as far as it went

they all agreed that Kerry, once again, responded too weakly, and that if the fascists can convince voters that Cheney has a point, Kerry is toast

really despicable stuff

where are the DEMS????????

they all agreed that Kerry SHOULD have responded himself, rather than Edwards

1. Wrong
Kerry should not have responded himself. If Kerry spent all his time responding to charges, he'd be constantly distracted. This was handled better than SBVT. Edwards and Madeleine Albright made strong condemnations of Cheney's statement. Hell, even the WH wanted nothing to do with it. Kerry's message today was his excellent speech. The pundits, as usual, are full of shit.

2. Cheney = VP. Edwards = VP Candidate. Chain of command, intact.
