Exciting times for early voters in Los Angeles
It appears that early voters are being handled smoothly in Los Angeles. Lots of excitement. All bodes well for Obama-Biden here and across the country, to judge by this report:

1. Let's hope rain doesn't dampen enthusiasm.
Last night on NPR, a researcher said that rain in the Tampa area took enough Democratic votes away from Kerry that he lost the state. (Maybe it was Gore.)

But the point was that rain kept 1.5% of voters away from the polls and many are Democrats.
