Once Obama wins on Tuesday night, what will he do first?.....
I'm not talking about January when he takes office.
I'm talking this week and next, 10 days two weeks.

After Wednesday when Obama and Biden are on TV from 7 AM on the Today show to 11:30 PM on the Tonight show, and everything in between.

Thursday he sits down with newspaper editors and magazine interviewers with Michelle and the girls.

Friday, he meets with staff at his headquarters, and sends a 2 minute video to all his volunteers by email.

Then he flies to Hawaii with family and some top staff, to spend a week in Hawaii, away from the Press.

No Sunday talk shows? Well, I guess he could do them from Hawaii!

Anybody else have a different scenario for how Obama will spend the next week or two?

I love day dreams when we are down to the wire and there's little I can do now in my state but drive a few to the polls tomorrow.

3. He will thank everyone who helped him!
He will be humble but proud and VERY gracious. He will praise whatever good he can of John McCain and Sarah Palin. He will reach out to their supporters in a kind and nice way, even tho they may be resentful.

I truly believe this will be what he considers very important as a first step as our new leader. And we will all be impressed!

7. Goes back to see his grandma with Michelle and the girls.
And gets some rest.

I'm more interested in what the Congress will do. I've heard that in the event of an Obama win, they are going to go back into session and try to get some serious groundwork laid for next Spring's activities. It's going to be interesting to follow.

8. Like what do you think they will do?
The house will NEVER pass anything without Obama's input. The Senate has one more convict among them, (Stevens) who needs to be expelled.

10. what I heard was that Obama will be involved, even as President-elect.
And that's why they'll get things started. It will be more than just a lame duck session--but I don't remember the details.

12. I am SO thankful that his grandma is still alive and will see him elected President!
That dear woman will die a very happy person. She will see all of her devotion and hard work result in a great leader. What a wonderful way to end your earthly existence, knowing you have contributed to the well being of humankind!

13. Me, too. She deserves to see this, as do we. Thank you. What a wonderful post, my friend.
I'm finally believing that this is really going to happen. I never do, have a track record of voting for the loser, beginning with my president, Jimmy Carter. But I voted for Clinton and Gore, so the third time may be the charm. This man is exceptional and I think this country has seen that.

20. I can imagine. I've had jet lag, too, especially back from Russia, absolutely the worst...
But I'm glad to be here to welcome you home. I'm the same, not great, most days, still in a lot of pain. But I guess I need more time. This election may help...:hi:

28. I'm a cook, too, post in the cooking and baking group here,
have found and shared some really good recipes, but I've been staying off of DU right now. I totally support this election, a historic one in my life, and I'll vote, always vote, but I have more personal concerns that are messing up my head. I just want my life to return to normal, but I know that's not possible... Thanks for your post. I'm okay, for now...:(
