Those who are voting tomorrow... when are you going to vote?
My wife and I are going to be in line at 6am (I work nights and she'd rather vote early than have to go at 5pm when EVERYONE will be in line).

Problem is, after I vote, I have to try to go to sleep. It's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG day.

3. I figure that I'll come home
at lunch time to vote. Oops! Just remembered that I have election day off. I think I'll still vote in the afternoon. I'm a district leader and have to be there when the polls close, so I can get there early too. We rarely have long lines. We have about nine thousand eligible voters in town with six polling places and two booths at each polling place. It will run smoothly.

I volunteered at the Obama office in my town to drive people to the polls in the afternoon. I am going to put in a little bit of work during the day.

9. My family has had a tradition of voting at the crack of dawn. We have ever since my folks waited....
.....four hours after work on evening to vote in 1976. Our township had only two machines for 3500 voters that year.

15. I will go at about 9:30 a.m.
Hopefully, that way I will miss the people who vote before work. I always go in the mid morning hours and it works out alright in my district in suburban Detroit. It will be a long day indeed!! But it is going to be a great day.

so that I can be up by 5:00 or so to stand in line. Our polls open at 6 am. If the line is too long, I'll go work out and come back after I finish with Kidsvote around noon.

edited to add: I'm not sure I'll even be able to sleep tonight though.

19. 7 am or at least I'll enter the line around then...
In 2006 the turn out was heavy in my precinct, which is combined in the polling place with one other precinct, it only took about 10 minutes.

I sort of expect a little longer wait this time but I can't imagine it taking more than 20 minutes.

23. Will be going to the polls sometime after 5:00 PM
I have to work tomorrow and I don't usually get home until 5:00 PM. BF (who works the evening/2nd shift) took the day off so we can go vote together. This is THE election and we're doing it up right. I'll be passing our polling place before I get home so I can see if there are long lines.

I can't wait...as Election Day has gotten closer and closer, I've gotten more and more excited and nerved up at the same time.

BARACK the VOTE!!!!!!

28. Sometime in the morning
Probably right before I head into town to drive people to the polls between 12-4. And then I have French class later.

It's going to be so different this time than last time. Last time I was in a rage when I voted, it was more an anti Bush / Cheney vote than a positive Kerry vote. I actually scared myself with how angry I was. This time it's going to be about happiness, and picking a candidate I have really good feelings about.

31. First thing in the morning.
I can see my voting place from my bedroom window. It's just a short walk across a small lawn. When I see the parking lot start to fill up. I'll head over there. I'm guessing around 6:30 a.m.

32. When my daughter gets home from college - we will vote together for her first vote!
I am so excited!!!! We are having a small party just to celebrate my daughter voting - I told her I was going to take pics of her and put them in her baby book - haha!!!

We are also celebrating what I hope will be an Obama win and a NO on Q1 in MA - also a defeat of Dole and McConnell and a win for Kerry (should be a no brainer)...I am hoping we will be celebrating all night long :-)

33. 6:30 pm after work
going to go home, pick up the kids so I bring them into the voting booth with me (being a historic vote and all), and then go out for a slice of pizza.

Then I'm picking up some chips, dip, cookies and champaign and then friends are gathering at our house to watch the election returns.

I'm "counting" on a fun evening. (Get it? "counting"? Eh, eh?)

37. Usually I vote when the polls open
But tomorrow I'm voting in the middle of the day, both because it will be less crowded and because I'm going make sure my son gets out of bed and to the polls instead of sleeping in until 10 minutes before he has to leave for class.

41. In the morning around 10 AM
I'm still conflicted as to whether or not I should just show up at 6AM when the polls open because I have no idea how the turnout will be in my area of New York which has much lower voter turnout than the national average but with this year being such a strange election, I have no idea if it'll be mayhem or just normal.

But yeah, I am scheduling Election Day around my vote and nothing else.

43. My polling place is my daughter's middle school. I might take her with me just before school starts
If it is too crowded, though, I'll wait for my boys to get home from elementary school at 2:10 to take them. I want at least one of my kids to come to the polls with me. My preference is to vote early, though, so I can wear my "I Voted" sticker along with my Obama/Biden pin and t shirt all day long! :)
