I'm in Nevada and they tell me 50% of registered voters in NV have already voted

this is really amazing.

regarding the operation here in Reno, i've never seen so much comprehensive coordination from a campaign. in one poor Reno neighborhood i canvasssed, where turnout in 2004 was 5%, a good chunk of voters i'd met had already voted, all were voting and nearly all for Obama. many said to me that they'd been contacted multiple times by the campaign --which perhaps is why so many knew where to vote on Tuesday.
