Today I was canvassing trying to find out who has already voted/not voted and to get volunteers. I also had some signs in the trunk of my car for anybody who asked for one. I ran into a voter who had already voted but wanted an Obama pen. I didn't have a pen but told her I had a sign and she said "great! Put it up!".
I went back to my car and pulled it up further in front of her house and lifted up the back hatch to the Jeep. As I did this, I noticed a man standing on his front porch watching me with his arms folded. He was actually staring me down! Then I looked further across the landscape in his yard and noticed he had a McCain/Palin sign!! He was trying to intimidate me with his presence and his posturing!!! I just went to her yard up on the hill and pushed it into the ground firmly. Then I straightened myself back up, came back down the hill, raised up and shut the hatch to my Jeep, and walked around the car and waved at him as I got back in and started to drive away. As I pulled away I noticed he was surrounded by Obama/Biden signs in the neighborhood!!! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:
It was great! I left him on the porch with arms folded and a scowl on his face....
