Why Obama will win
Day after day as I sat at HQ strangers would step in and declare that it was the first time in years, or ever, that they were going to vote. I've never seen anything like it.

Very few ever expressed a doubt and those that did express any doubt said it didn't matter: they wanted change.

Obama has inspired people who had never been inspired before. That's why Obama will win.

2. I think for once we may see a much larger turnout than expected
At least I hope so. We can't afford to get complacent, because it needs to be such a rout that they cannot cheat.

But look at the long lines for early voting and the amount already turned in! As much as I don't like lines in general, this is fantastic. It's also evidence that we need more voting equipment and places, obviously, and machines if they work transparently enough to be audited, but it's really inspiring and amazing to see also. I've had friends who normally are fairly apolitical (or at least do not discuss it) get fired up lately for Obama and Biden, and against McCain and Palin.

God bless America. I do have to say that as much as we miss sometimes, there comes a point where we tend to stand and say "enough bullshit!"

:D

3. Yes! Enough!
2000 saw 100M pres votes.....2004 122M votes. A similar increase would see 146M votes.

80M for Obama and 66 for what's his face.
