At my family gathering today...

At my family gathering today...

It was my mom's 81st birthday. When I walked in the house with my pastry and my gift (a book of poetry) the first thing I heard was....

"How many houses did you doorknock yesterday?" "123" "You need to get your picture taken."

Then we all went and had our picture taken sitting behind my parent's Obama and Tinklenberg lawn signs.


(After hearing some stories about other people's family gatherings, I appreciated how my day went even more.)
