McCain recreating what he was doing before his "surprise" NH victory during the primaries.....

That is what McCain is doing in New Hampshire, 2 days before the vote.

He is recreating his beloved NH townhalls, because he believes since it worked the first time he had a come-from-behind win, it will again work again. Just like going on SNL was in his hopes that folks would forgive him for all of divisive nastiness that he has put this country through for the last few months smearing Barack Obama while dividing America, and choosing an incompetent as his Veep Pick. That is how out of new ideas this man is.

He believes that the American people have a short memory, and will only remember the type of Maverick he is presenting before this hand picked audience tonight, rather than the bumbling ridiculous confused fool he has been throughout the GE.

He believes the American people to be as superficial as he is, and to be wowed by labels, gimmicks, and slogans without any substance behind them. He believes that he gives the off the air of an authentic politician, that somehow he will, with this one appearance, win back the NH independents who deserted him with his pick of Palin. Of course, it is true that many Americans do have short memories, and so he may be making the best moves considering his situation, however....

What he doesn't realize is that during the GOP primaries, none of his opponents had the substance AND superficial bells & whistles AND genuine authenticity weaved together nice and tight like......

3. I've read numerous times McCain is very superstitious and prone to rituals...

so I wouldn't doubt that's part of what is going on here.
