They are way more socialist (especially the NFL) than any other industry. They tried to do it the unfettered capitalist way and it led to strikes and irrelevant franchises.

They are "socialist" but they are monopolies as well. It's off-topic but I want the gov't to revoke their anti-trust exemptions. What some of these leagues/ teams are doing to their fans is wrong, ie.. PSL licensing, outrageous ticket and concessions pricing, sports viewing on cable (subscription) only television channels, etc.
