1. I used to live in the Upper Market/Noe Valley neighborhood, and
we used to say: "Everyday is Halloween." :)

But, my gawd, the real Halloween Day was always a great street spectacle there.

11. I grew up in the East Bay 'burbs, and after living near the Castro,
I became very accustomed to people wearing, oh, say, backless chaps and nipple rings and little else, but then when I'd go "home" to the 'burbs to visit family the people in Contra Costa County would seem really fake and freaky to me. :rofl:

a tad more conservative, culturally speaking, than San Francisco. :rofl:

Some of the stuff I used to see on a regular basis in my neighborhood...whew, singe yer eyebrows!
