The election is 4 days away. Saturday and Sunday don't count for the majority as they aren't glued to MTP. Tonight is Halloween, which means everyone will either be out trick or treatin' or passing out candy. Any news on Monday is very unlikely to change any of the polling. I know it's not over till it's over, but I don't see any way that McLame has any news cycles left to make a difference. Obama's speech on Wed. was a brilliant stroke to take at least 2 cycles away from goobers.

1. I am taking the attitude that soon to be President Elect Obama wants us to
and that is "it ain't over until it's over". So, lets keep working hard.

6. I won't believe Obama has won until 30 minutes after he's sworn into office...
I distrust the Repubs that much.

8. I'm working the phones this weekend
This is the first campaign I've ever worked for, and the first I've donated a good sum of money for. I can't wait for Nov. 5th!

9. Did you also go from ...
Did you - like me - also go from working against Bush to working for Obama? This happened to me quite a while back during the primaries - it was almost like one day I realized I don't just want to get rid of any trace of bush/cheney/rove anymore, that I wanted to see this man in particular - Barack Obama - become my next president.

11. Yes I did
I jumped onto the Obama bandwagon in January after hearing his speech in Iowa. I really believed that change was possible, and the hope he instilled was awesome.

2. There's a good chance there will be a new BinLaden tape
released within the next day or two. These things seem to come out right on schedule to help the repugs. In 2004 a tape of his surfaced the day before the election and probably scared enough people into voting for bush to swing the election.

12. Yes, we posted about this yesterday -- ABC was predicting a new tape. We'll see...

3. BUT IT'S TIGHTENING
Oh no, it's getting closer, we'll pick a single poll and prove that based on that poll it isn't mathematically impossible for the Palin/McCain ticket to win the White House, then we'll raise the specter of hacked machines in every battleground and worry about it and lose sleep over it.

:sarcasm: of course.

I'll wait until Wednesday to start partying but I've got the good beer in the fridge.

4. Brilliant
but by not allowing the GOP to ramp up for the final week it may forestall bloody "surprises" the three day trickster and slant machine and the so-called "tightening" that occurs when sluggish independent voters start rubbing their eyes awake and finding GOP arguments only on the boob tube.

Obama wasn't kidding about winning big will swamp the crap. The push back against fraud, the gutting of any event primed to cause last minute chaos, has saved votes and probably lives.

5. I posted a similar post on Wednesday. McCain was out of time then.
Obama won the media battle Weds with his commercial. That also dominated the news yesterday. We pick up the rest of the scenario via your post.

7. It's down to making people decide in the voting booth now.
Those folks won't make their decisions until they're driving to the polling places.

10. Either EVERY SINGLE POLL IN THE NATION IS WRONG.... or Obama has this thing

There's no way that EVERY SINGLE POLL is off.

SOMEBODY has the right methodology.

13. He will only win if EVERYBODY shows up to vote...
Those who look at the long lines and think "He's got it, I'm going back to bed" will put this at risk.

This attitude will allow them to get away with their underhand cheating tactics they are going to use.

A landslide will not only be gratifying it is absolutely necessary.
