I just spent 5 hours in AZ to vote for Obama/Biden!
Now where the hell is my "I Voted for Obama" avatar? :) No, seriously... I'm kind of stupid about that sort of thing... how do I do it? Any help appreciated.

Also, how GREAT is it that there were that many people hanging around to cast a ballot here in ARIZONA!? Amazing amount of young people, and the few more mature couples I had the privilege of speaking with were all clearly Obama voters. Luckily, it was in a library so my wife and I were able to read and lounge while waiting. WOOHOO!!! COME ON, AZ!!!

7. Yeah... at first I just thought the library was packed, but when I got
my number, and it was 400 behind the number they were calling, and then they were calling out 10 numbers every 20 minutes or so... I then realized it was going to take a while. So I went and checked out Franken's "The Truth (with jokes)" and curled up for a few hours. Took everything in me to not sob like a baby when I was handing in my ballot. GREAT night. But I should crash... I have to be up for work at 4am. D'oh! :)

4. Go to your options
Then Profile. You can search through the images to find a voted icon. I believe Skinner just uploaded the one like mine.

10. It's disappointing that there are so few early voting places in AZ
My daughter and her boyfriend went to one in Tempe today and the wait was 4 hours long. Because of school and work they had to leave. They plan to vote on Tues. It's their first time to vote and they are so excited. But I hope that the lines on Tues. aren't that long...

places. Part of the problem seems to be that there are only 10 locations in all of Maricopa Co. to vote. Can you imagine what would happen if only 10 gas stations were open for almost 3 million people?

13. Only an hour and a half in Indy ...
But one of the workers said it's been like that for a week straight! It's one of only a few places for Marion County.

15. Good for you to stick it out and vote! It should NOT take 5 hours to vote!
Our election system needs help, desperately. Most people cannot take 5 hours off to vote. Hope the large turnout means good things for us..

16. Why can't we do away with polling places...
and be allowed to vote online with our SS numbers? Just like we can with our taxes?
