Ten Photos of Obama
Ten Photographs of Obama, From Whom I Don't Know

Where these came from originally, I do not know.

And, OK, I'm getting soft. But this is an honest man.

23. this is what you get when you educate a child and teach them as
well empathy and kindness. I salute his family for they have made a miracle for us all. Without this kind of hopefulness and this quality of a man, I don't think my life would be as long as I now feel it will be. I think after eight years of depression, I am finally seeing the sunlight again.

25. In 2004, I was very close to suicide.
Sick, both physically and emotionally, with no income and no way to pay for medical care; I volunteered for Obama as a last ditch effort to find some way to find hope. Then I met Obama and my life changed. He made me think that there was hope for the future and that I deserved to get help with my health issues. Other volunteers at the campaign office gave me information where to go to get free health care in a near by town and encouraged me to go there.

By the time I got help it was a little late for me to come out on the up side, too much damage had been done to my heart. But I survived two heart failures and that, along with my other health issues, ended up entitling me to disability and medicaid. The bush administration was enough to get me down, but my interactions with Obama in 2004 was enough to keep me hopeful because if we had someone like him in the government, then there had to be others that were positively good also and that gives us hope that we will be done with this conservative government. So I know what you mean when you say you are finally seeing the sunlight.

6. This is where they come from
http://digitaljournalist.org/issue0810/callie-bp.html

There's a lot more on that site. I especially like one where he is taking a nap.

A collection of these pictures would make a great coffee table book.
