Could McCain even do three minutes?
I missed last nights simulcast campaign spectacular and had to watch on youtube this morning. I was floored at what a great job it was. Carrying a 30 minute political advertisement is no mean feat. Obama was great. Masterful. Informative. Intelligent. He reached out to the audience, but he never talked down to them. The entire content of the show was 'What an Obama Administration Means for America', it was a policy oriented, issue oriented, forward looking positive message. What a masterful close to a great campaign. A campaign we can all be proud of.

I can't imagine McCain managing to do even three minutes at this level. He doesn't have three minutes of policy stuff to talk about, even spliced with background and setup video segments. The best he could do is three minutes of vote for me I got shot down in that other bad war, I'm not Bush, I'm all Mavericky, and the other guy is a dangerous (terrorist socialist crazy preacher muslim inexperienced uppity negro librul etc.) His campaign is an embarrassment.

The stark contrast in choices presented to the voter this election is stunning. Intelligent eloquent energetic leadership, smart people who will work hard to fix the mess that has been made, a team with a vision of a better world for all of us vs. more of the same from a team that lacks vision, lacks intelligence, plays to our divisions, and just doesn't appear to be up to the challenge.

It has been a long time since I felt so good about voting FOR my party's candidate.

1. On Larry King last night the only thing McCain said, over and over, was "Don't elect Obama"
It's really crazy - you'd think he'd spend a little time talking about what he would do instead of just knocking Obama.
