It's interesting, informative and what a great touch including the stories of real people. I had tears in my eyes when Obama spoke of his mom having to fight the insurance companies as she was dying of cancer. I think this is a homerun and we will see Obama make a big finish to election day.
All the people who thought it would be off-putting are just the usual crowd of worriers. I'll admit that back after the RNC I was pretty upset at the way the race was going but since then Obama has really won my confidence in his political abilities. There's no way he was going to take an opportunity to talk uninterrupted to all America for half an hour and mess it up. I knew this was gonna be great.
Besides... when you've got all of Hollywood on your side you'd better be able to put up a good TV show :)
6. i shooed son, 13, back in to watch. he wanted to tell me about that part too.

he said it was his favorite. my other son, 11 came in to tell me about him calling every night and letting daughters talk as long as they want and reading harry potter to them.
i had to keep sending kids back in to watch so they wouldn't miss.
