California Number 1 in Fundraising for Obama - Thanks to all My Fellow CA DUers!
Californians gave $15,525,927 raised in September alone and figures for October will be available soon. So give California DUers some LOVE. We are volunteering in droves and calling the swing states - we are donating till it hurts
I know it's not a big surprise. We are the most populated state and for the most part blue. But I live in one of the reddest counties, San Diego. I am surrounded by Republicans. Then there is the next county up on the coast, Orange County - it is very red. John Wayne International Airport and all... We also have the Governator.

The thing that is such a bummer is since we are nowhere near being a swing state, Obama will not step foot here to speak. I wish he would come to San Diego or even L.A. so I could go and see him in person. :(

1. I live in OC. Lots of Obama stickers on cars, very few for Mc.

The Rs are embarrassed. They'll still vote for Mc, but at least Obama has shut them up this year.

Also: a house in my neighborhood has a McCain/Palin sign in the front yard with a "NO on Prop 8" sign next to it. Progress!
