Rendell admitted on Ed Schultz today that he was trying to fire up the Dems
when he made his comments last week. He said he was starting to hear people saying Obama is up by 13, so they didn't have to vote. People were starting to get very complacent there. He said he had to tell people the 7 percent undecided could go for McCain and it would be a close race then. If people don't vote. And he said he asked the campaign to send Obama back, Send Hillary, and then Send Bill. And they've done all those things.

4. I love Fast Eddie.
I think Ed is well aware of the uphill battle McCain faces in PA. He just doesn't want our side to become complacent.

5. Good. Oregon ballot return is slow
Democrats are notoriously complacent. Sorry. We just are.

9. Really? In what parts? I'm told that its heavy here
My Mom works in the election office here in Lane Co. and although we haven't discussed the ratio of dem:repug ballots, she did say that they've been getting a lot of ballots in earlier than in past elections.

10. Lane County is good
It's at 36%. Some of the others aren't so hot, which has the state down as a whole.

7. I wondered a few days ago...
if this was a head fake. Glad to hear it. I don't always like Fast Eddie, but he's a shrewd politician.

8. WTF?
"People were starting to get very complacent there."

That's BULLSHIT. And boy did he pull the wool over eyes around here if anyone believes that crap.
