Bricks-with message "False Hope-Means Social War"- Thrown Into Obama's Kansas City Office
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 03:43 PM by tekisui
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Police say someone threw bricks through windows at the Kansas City headquarters for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

The Kansas City Star reports on its Web site that the incident occurred about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the bricks had "false hope" and "means social war" written on them.

Two teenage campaign workers reported the incident. They told police they were working late when they heard someone mumbling outside and then glass breaking.

Investigators are trying to determine whether any video cameras in the area recorded the incident.

11. Please understand

While I am def not in the fundie camp here, it may NOT BE Christian. Many Republicans are not really religious at all and are more for social darwinism type Libertarianism. It's possible the perps of this act could have been striking a blow against communism. /last sent was sarcasm

13. Kansas is the "evolution is a theory" state. They put stickers in their science
books, stating that it's only a theory. Lots of fundies cram creationism into the schools by running for school boards.

It's all xtian, just like the Palin droolers.

And it's all intended to make me feel morally inferior, because I think.

6. That's fine.
But, I have my doubts that an Obama person would feel the need to do something like this.

7. The team that's winning doesn't have to lower itself
to antics like this, it's the losing team that pulls this kind of crap.

14. Assholes
I just saw it on our local news. I go by there all the time when I take my son to the hospital right down the road in Kansas City. Weird, but right before I read this here I got a call from there asking us to come volunteer this weekend (we had signed a thing when we went to the rally on the 18th) !!!
