Let's give it up for Rick Sanchez!!!
CNN anchor. He just eviscerated Joe the Plumber. His rationale was that since Joe the Plumber has endorsed John McCain and is now campaigning for him, he deserves some media scrutiny just like all public campaigners. He went on about how Joe's not really a plumber and owes back taxes to the state of Ohio. But here's something I didn't know. Joe the Plumber used to live in ALASKA in the 1990s!

Oh, he also called out Palin for being a collectivist in Alaska as well.

1. So that's why he has family up there.
I know somebody found a Wurzelbacher up there when DU was digging up everything on him.

Interesting!

4. I wonder how much he's getting paid by the RNC?
Not IF he's getting paid, but how much. Probably just enough for him to pay his back taxes and to buy the plumbing company.

I also wonder if he understands he's going to be dumped on Nov 5th?

6. They'll dump him Nov. 5 but drag him back out in 2012
He'll be the heart-wrenching story of 2012 - "see I told you so! I'm getting taxed into oblivion!!!"

Too bad the rest of the country will most likely be doing much, much better.

If he lived in Alaska
I wonder if he knew the Palins, and I also wonder if he had any connection to the AIP up there.

5. I've written to CNN to give kudos
to Rick, especially after covering the AIP stuff. We need to let these media outlets know that covering the real news leads to increased viewership which = more ratings.

Absolutely brutal. I expect CNN to be thrown under the bus very soon by the McCain campaign.

Maybe he used to live in Arizona too sometime before, but he talked about him living in Alaska.

After all he canceled on Larry King because CNN was mean to Tucker Bounds.

21. Sanchez is a whore.
Having had to suffer his unconscienable pandering to the Cuban American right wing nutjobs in So. Florida back in the 90's on WSVN, I'm having a difficult time believing he's some sort of new Keith Oberman.

He just sees which way the wind is blowing and he's jumping on the band wagon. What a douche!

29. Well, he's just as likely to turn on Obama the minute he sees the wind shifting.
I'd like to also point out he just makes shit up. I remember right after Andrew struck, commenting on the video coming from WSVN's "Sky-Scam 7" helicopter flying over South Dade, he said 'My God, look at that destruction, there must be ten thousand people dead down there!"

A co-worker burst into tears as he said this because her brother and sister were missing in Homestead at that time. The trailer park they lived in was just gone, no sign that it was ever there.

He had no way of knowing how many people were dead. I mean, how irresponsible to say something like that when there were so many people out of communication with their families! Naturally, seeing the devastation in So. Dade many would immediately assume the worst, and there's someone on TV saying their worst fears are true.

What a major douche!

23. Palin is a communist
she believes it's good for the people to own all the resources and spread the wealth around to all those people even if they don't have jobs. You just have live there.

27. He also called out Palin on her "In Alaska we share in the wealth" hypocrisy.
He showed several clips of her basically accusing Obama of being a dirty Commie, and then ran that quote to show how she seemed to approve of wealth sharing in her own state.
