Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 01:04 PM by KansasVoter
6:30am - Get up, log on to DU before getting dressed. Make sure no overnight polls were posted.
7:00am - Analyze the shit out of RealClearPolitics until my eyes bleed!
7:30am - Arrive at work, launch the DU on the Iphone and check for any news, etc
(every 15 minutes from 7:30 - 11:30) Check DU for:
Polls, RAS, And any damn polling company that will post
Concerns,
MSNBC slams
Limbaugh is a jerk posts
They are not covering Obama like McCain posts
Etc.
11:30pm - 12:05 - Wait for Gallup, either Panic or Celebrate
12:30pm - 5:00 (same as from 7:30 to 11:30)
5:30pm - Arrive home, change, eat dinner with Family, try to act normal
6:30pm - Log on to DU
7:00pm - Olbermann
8:00pm - Maddow
9:00pm - 11:00pm - Try to do anything else but politics, shower, bills, etc,
11:00pm - 12:00pm - try to interpet what Drudge is hinting at for Zogby, if no Drudge post then await good news.
12:00am - Read Zogby, then either sleep well or worry until 1:00am and toss and turn all night

Repeat over and over until November 5th.

I hate you all! I seriously do!! :-)

:sarcasm:

LOL!

Yeah, the sad thing is that your post actually isn't an exaggeration for many of us, including (on some days) me.

I knew I had gone overboard when I started with DU on my iPhone.

16. Yea, really. Forgot the daily show. Then Colbert. Or switch to Letterman
to see if he has any new McCain jokes, Maybe wait for Craig Ferguson, since he's been pretty funny lately & I'm still up, check DU again at 2AM & go to bed.

Wash, Rinse, repeat.....

And I wonder why I'm so tired & not getting anything done.

it feels SO much better to see the map MUCH bluer. But still working just as hard as I did 4 years ago, this time with a little more enthusiasm because even though I liked John Kerry, I didn't find him as inspiring as Barack Obama.

That all sounds pretty normal to me.
I'm at work now and shouldn't be doing this.

My husband complains every evening that I have to watch the same programs. I get annoyed with him when he tries to chat while I'm trying to listen to Keith or Rachel. It's becoming quite a strain.

Then I'm gone all weekend canvassing. He's living for November 5. So am I, but I'll certainly suffer a certain amount of withdrawal.

63. 6:30 AM Get up and log on...you log on??? I just open up the laptop by my bed. I usually check DU
before my feet hit the ground in the morning and before sleeping at night if nothing else.

If I am going away for a weekend....Must...take...computer. I did this past weekend.

In conversations with friends, I'm usually very well informed, in fact better informed than they are about politics. I just find myself stumbling when I have to disclose my "sources" so I go..."I read on my favorite internet site..." or "I saw on the web that..." but it always seems weird to say that. Of course, they don't know DU.

DU plays a big role in my life that's for sure.
