The Republican record of inaction
“They’re always talking about things we can't do in America, energy we can't produce, refineries we can't build, plants we can't approve, coal we cannot use, technologies we cannot master. As John McCain has observed, for a guy whose slogan is ‘yes, we can,’ Barack Obama’s energy plan sure has a whole lot of ‘no, we can’t.’” Sarah Palin

No one solves a problem like a Republican. When the vast majority of scientist were explain global warming was real, man made and devastating in future impact there were the Republicans watching TV made for videos explaining why it was a fake issue. When the price of gas soared there were Republican watching TV explain how the president was going to institute the bold policy of asking middle east countries very nicely to give us a little more oil. On 9/11 there were the Republicans watching it on TV with the rest of us trying to figure out who let this happen. When Katrina hit New Orleans there were the Republicans watching it on TV wondering when the person in charge was going to do something to help those people. When a bridge fell into the Mississippi because Republicans thought it was too costly to repair American infrastructure there were the Republicans watching TV as Republican leaders explained why their infrastructure bill was giving money to Sarah Palin to build a bridge to nowhere but not the money to up keep Americas infrastructure that 99 % of the American population uses. When it became clear America was stuck in a quagmire in Iraq there were the Republicans to watch it on TV and wonder when someone was going to let our military leave. When America wanted Bin Laden dead or alive there were the Republicans watching Bin Laden’s video explaining a vote for Kerry was a vote for him. When Americans average salary drop 2 K over 8 years while their cost of living soared there were the Republicans watching TV explain to them to wait a little longer for the money to trickle down. When the housing market collapsed dragging down the stock market and Americas banking system there were the Republicans watching on TV as Republican leaders explained that America’s economy was sound. Really it’s been 8 years Palin when is YOUR PARTY going to even attempt to solve a single US problem instead of watching FOX explain why your party isn't doing anything. Quick what problem was solved by the Republican majority and White House in 2001-2006? I give up.
