dumb voting question (MA)

ok. stupid scenario here.

I am registered to vote in MA.

Now, maybe I am paranoid, but if my drivers license has my old address on it (in-state), is this an issue?

I would get it renewed in time, but have a few parking tickets that I can't actually afford to pay before next tues...

2. I've never had to show ID to vote in MA
I'd just be sure to show up at the precinct that has you listed.

3. According to the MA Elections Division site,
here: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele/eleifv/howreg.htm,

Q. What must I do if I've changed my address since I registered?

A. If you have moved within the same city or town, notify your local election office of your new address in writing. If you have moved to a new city or town, you must register again.

...
Q. Do I need to attach identification to my voter registration form?

A. Yes, if you are registering to vote for the first time in Massachusetts. Because of a new federal law, the Help America Vote Act of 2002 passed by Congress, if you registered to vote by mail on or after January 1, 2003, you will be required to show identification when you vote for the first time in a federal election since registering by mail in 2003, or you can send in a copy of your identification with your voter registration form.

Acceptable identification must include your name and the address at which you are registered to vote, for example: a current and valid driver’s license, photo identification, current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check, or other government document showing your name and address. If you send in a copy of your identification with your mail-in voter registration form, it may not be returned to you.

If you do not provide such identification, the Help America Vote Act of 2002 requires that you may only cast a provisional ballot which will be counted later, but only after your eligibility to vote has been determined.

So sounds like you could also take your electric bill or paycheck or similar as ID.

6. Found this
MASSACHUSETTS
First-time voters: If you are registering for the first time in Massachusetts, you must include a copy of your ID with your voter registration form. If you forget, you'll need to provide ID the first time you vote in person or by absentee ballot. Acceptable identification includes: a copy of a current and valid photo ID that shows your name OR a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, government check, or other government document that shows your name and Massachusetts address.

In-person voters:You do not need to provide ID if you have already voted in Massachusetts at least once. If you are required from first-time voter and you did not meet the ID requirements when you registered, you must show acceptable ID at the polls. See above for examples of acceptable ID.

Absentee voters: You do not need to provide ID if you have already voted in Massachusetts at least once. If you are a first time voter and you did not meet the ID requirements when you registered, you must include a copy of your ID with your absentee ballot application. See above for examples of acceptable ID.
