Sarah Palin is a redistributing commie

Every year, every citizen of the state of Alaska is given about $1200 in money confiscated from the oil companies.

That's right....

PRIVATE corporations, EVERY year, have part of their profits confiscated by the Alaskan government and given to evey man, woman, and child in the state in the form of checks.

Redistribution of other people's wealth. She's stealing from the rich oil companies to give to her citizens.

Do the people of Pennsylvania get a "coal dividend" every year?

Do the people of Iowa get a "corn dividend" every year?

Do the people of Hawaii get a "pineapple dividend" every year?

..and on and on.

Nope.

Alaska is the most socialist state in the nation.

Spread the word.

2. Sharing the wealth or bribing the citizens ?
You said you were sharing the oil wealth with Alaska residents

but maybe you weren't doing that.

Maybe you were just bribing them so they would vote you as "America's most popular governor."

3. My God! This is exactly the argument I've been making since she started her socialist rant.

5. To be fair Sarah Palin didn't start this. It's just that she couldn't take back
a law that has 98% backing in Alaska, the other 2% in opposition being the oil companies. It began back when oil became an important commodity for the State. It made me wonder why we didn't do this in the rest of the country and not only for oil but everything that is mined from the earth, like metals and lumber. As a matter of fact we should go a step further and nationalize all those industries that take raw material from the land and use the proceeds to do our public works with, like highways, bridges, education, etc.. If properly administered, this could probably make income taxes a thing of the past. We, the people, should own our resources.
