Usually Campaigns Say They Don't Pay Attention To Polls
Even Bush in 2004 wasn't like, "ooooh, lookit my poll number!!!"

McCain must be reeeeeally desperate.

I just can't ever remember a time a campaign pimped its own poll numbers less than a week before the election to make the case that they can still win.

Has anyon else ever seen a campaign do that?

It doesn't make sense.

1. The only polls they look at are the ones created by their own
internal polling expert, who in the case of McCain must by Homer Simpson.

2. Daily moving of the goalposts.
Or expectations. The fact that he is so all over the place with failed tactics, shows how badly they are doing.
