I think its important to look at Real Clear Politics or CNN poll of polls. The average is what matters.

5. But but.. Howard Fineman of Newsweek is peddling a 2% race and implying problems with Obama..

I just read a piece of that.. Fineman was saying that "gosh, seems kinda odd that OBama isn't leading by huge margin" insinuating that Obama is in trouble, and that the "traditional" voter model used to get that 2% spread yesterday was the "most accurate" Which is total BS, because it is based upon the voting models of 2004, which have been tossed out the window, but he says: "Still, in today’s “traditional Gallup” Daily Tracking Poll (the one that screens likely voters most rigorously, based on past votes), Obama leads McCain by only two percentage points, 49 to 47 percent.".
