Subject: Political Signs seen in Rural Texas Town

My spouse and I are in our 60s, white, and Democrats. We retired and moved to his rural northern Texas hometown in an area outside of the city limits. We voted for Obama during early voting. We never thought we'd have a chance to vote for a person of any color other than white. We're extremely happy to see this change. We lost a friend due to our choice. This does not upset us because their reasons were based on GOP smear/racist comments. I rarely go into the town proper and I'm not sure what to make of all the yard signs I saw today. I can send photos if necessary. There were no Obama yard signs up anywhere.

The signs read: November Election Vote God's Word

Has anyone else seen signs like these? I'd love to know what's going on regarding "God's Word."

I recently drove through central Texas to San Angelo. My mother and I took crazy pictures. Of the top of my head,I remember:

"Abortion Kills" wooden sign with painted blood on the highway, in some really small town.

A HUGE "Vote Christian" sign next to a McCain/Palin sign in San Angelo

"'I Hate Harvey Baptist Church' -Satan" in Stephenville (OK, this wasn't political but we thought it was hilarious and almost crashed the car from laughing.)

6. I would guess that these narrow minded people are reminding people not to vote for the

admitted adulterer and the running mate whose family has a tradition of getting pregnant before marriage.

Personally I think they should have better reasons for voting for Obama but we will take what we can get.

plaster every church with posters saying GOD CONGRATULATES OBAMA!!
