My prediction: Obama infomercial's focus will be real people

I don't think we'll see a half-hour long focus on Obama as a person. I think the Obama camp will have a number of "every day" Americans talking about problems with short interludes of how Obama's plan will address them. I bet we don't even see a picture of Obama until the last 5 minutes of the thing.

What's your prediction???

3. Ah ha!
Well Obama's too smart to make himself the centerpiece of something like this. It would seem like demagoguery.

6. As much as McCain et. al like to claim that Obama is all about himself
I think you're right. I have a hard time believing that Obama will be doing a Ross Perot-style lecture for 30 minutes that I might even get bored with. I'm sure whatever Obama has done will be informative and attention-grabbing and WILL NOT be about him just like he has attempted not to make his campaign about HIM but about what he wants to do to help our country and inspiring people to participate in the political process.

8. NYT: Obama Infomercial, a Closing Argument to the Everyman
"Senator Barack Obama will use his prime-time half-hour infomercial on Wednesday night to make what is effectively a closing argument to a national audience of millions. At times he will speak directly into the camera about his 20-month campaign, at others he will highlight everyday voters, their everyday troubles, and his plans to address them."

9. I think he will once again dispell all the ridiculous McCain BS and win back a few doubters
...and take this election big time.

Those who are saying it's risky are actually stimulating people's interest.

Obama will be calm, comforting and will relate to the problems REAL people face, not the idiotic hate-speak of the McCain hate machine.

10. I just wonder if he should have done this a week or two ago.
Seems a bit late in the game to do it now.

And how many brain-dead sheep will get pissed off they're missing Deal or No Deal?

12. He's going to explain in detail his economic plan.
It got rave reviews by economists and others and I think he's going to really kick that out of the park. As well as focus on real people and maybe answer some questions for independents.

But no one can keep up on 100% of the news. So when I imply that I don't know something, I'm not trying to get one over on you.

in a personal manner with intimate stories and obvious affection and love. I hope he does this either at the very beginning, or very end.
