Obama needs to keep running the Tax Cut Calculator ad and talk about it tonight.....
I am getting more questions and email from friends about the "Redistribution of wealth" issue than any other. And I know these questions are from stupid people who cannot research anything on their own, but it still means there are questions out there.

I think a lot of people out there think Obama is raising taxes on everyone and is raising them higher than ever before.

I always point out to these idiots, that Obama is just removing the Bush tax cuts and taking the tax rate to the Clinton levels. And they are shocked to see their own tax cut after going to the website.

I hope the airwaves are hammered with the tax website ad. It is a beautiful ad. I think McLame is going to try to use the "joe The Idiot" theme until election day!

1. Yes he does!!
I've talked to three people who are worried he will raise their taxes. My husband works with a room full of people who think the same! I've sent the link below to all I know & hope my hubby shares it with his co-workers.

For added emphasis, I also include this!

2. My simple answer would be...
1) Anyone making less than 150,000 will get more money back in taxes under Obama than under McCain, and..

2) You are living in the worst economic times in your lifetime and McCain wants to continue with the same policies that got us here.

I think it's just as important to focus on McCain than on Obama. McCain has done a good job of scaring people about voting for Obama. Obama and his supporters need to do the same thing with McCain.

5. I have a friend who's husband makes approx $200k in his business.
She's worried about taxes under an Obama presidency. I told her she should be more worried about the economy under a McCain presidency. She had a perplexed look on her face. I said that McCain will continue the same Bush policies that got us into this mess & with those policies, the economy will continue to tank. I pointed out that the money they will lose in potential income will far outweigh any increase in taxes. "I didn't think of it that way," she said.

Arghhh!!!! :banghead:

People do not think!! They fall for 30 second sound bites & don't bother to think things through. All she was concerned about is taxes, not income. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

4. My hope is that he drives that point home in his ad tonight...
and then crams it down the throat of every remaining news cycle. It is THE ONLY POINT of McCain's that is sticking, lingering, festering. I'm sure they have masterfully devised their media strategies for these last remaining days and I am anxiously looking forward to sitting back and watching the anhiliation. Then the next minute, I beg for at least a 51-49 victory.

6. Most excellent idea! Have you written to or called the campaign with this suggestion?

7. Not only that
he should hammer home the point that it is actually MCCAIN who wants to "redistribute wealth" by shifting even MORE of the tax burden onto the middle class - by more lopsided tax cuts favoring the super-wealthy AND by taxing employer-provided health insurance as income.

Taxes should be a vinning issue for Obama for all but the ultra-rich and the brain dead!
