The Obama campaign's latest ad, "Choice", is the campaign's first direct attack on Palin:
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/10/29/new-obama-ad-hits-mccains-choice-of-palinIt's quite effective, and it's just the start.
All of you who have complained for the past 8 weeks: "Why didn't Obama call out this?", "Why hasn't Obama criticized that?", "Why isn't Obama all over the Palin selection?", "Why isn't Obama talking about Keating?"
The reason? Obama didn't need to. He was far ahead in the polls. His campaign has been sitting back, waiting for the time to strike when it would be most effective.
That time, it's getting to be now. And if I were a betting woman, I would bet that tonight's advertisement is the last placid note in the Obama campaign. After tonight, they're going to go in for the kill.
The Obama campaign is masterfully run. There will be game changing stuff in the next 5 days out of his camp, and it will be interesting to watch.
