McCain camp's *NEW* "3-tiered Strategy to Win" (hilarity warning)
Edited on Wed Oct-29-08 09:56 AM by sparosnare
I can't believe the reporter was able to say this with a straight face:

1. They are confident they can win with the typical red states to reach 270. But if that doesn't happen....

2. They pick of PA. If that doesn't happen....

3. They put together a pool of smaller states to reach 270. States like NH, Iowa, etc.

They have a plan!!!!

(this is not a joke - heard it on CNN this morning)

2. Their playing a dart game not running an election campaign
There will be political science text books written about what not to do in a campaign with his campaign as the main example.

This campaign has been poorly run. Nice job hiring ex-Bushies.

12. Well, they could have said...
...nothing instead of releasing this "strategy". They look stupid because they got specific. Plan A involves winning states where they are behind by 8+ points. Plan B involves winning a state where they are behind 10+ points. Plan C involves winning several states where they are behind 10+ points. They just should have said nothing.

13. McCain's One-step Plan: Win
That's basically what this is.

Kind of goes without saying.

"See, first we're gonna win the popular vote. Then, we're gonna win the electoral vote. Then, if we're really good, we'll win the whole damn election!"

Brilliant!

14. They're not too sure about Nova Scotia, but they are banking on
Saskatchewan and Alberta to come through for them.

But Guatemala is written off completely, and McCain is pulling all campaign staff from there.
