I became a Sirius subscriber by virtue of the fact that I purchased a Dodge Charger R/T this year and a built-in Sirius radio was installed in the vehicle.
I have previously owned 2 XM Radios and still have one radio and my XM account.
I am rather disappointed by the limited selection of news, information and talk programs available on Sirius when compared to my XM unit. Indeed it seems that the Sirius system offers far fewer channels than the XM units.
Most important to ME as a Democrat -I am extremely disappointed that during the middle of the work day you continue to carry the foul mouthed, bitter and obnoxious Lynn Samuels on Sirius Left who is supposed to be leading a liberal/progressive national radio show but alternately puts down the Democratic candidate for President in the nastiest of terms or talks about irrelevant non political and non national New York City centric news.
I have become SO irritated by Ms. Samuels program that I have taken my aftermarket XM radio out of my other car and installed it into my brand new 2008 Dodge Charger R/T because it appears to be the only way I can get REAL Democratic oriented talk during the workday because it is NOT available on my Sirius radio.
I want my AAR (Air America Radio), I want Ed Schultz, I want Rachel Maddow and I want the XM channel 167 programming on my Sirius radio. I'd also like to be able to get C-SPAN, NPR, POTUS08 and the other news related programming offered on XM on my Sirius radio since you have merged with XM. Your cross network offerings of "the best of XM" really AREN'T. I do NOT care about Oprah or Hockey games. Give me what I want not this second rate Lynn Samuels nonsense.
