New Mexico Sun News declares "Obama wins"
Source: CNN

For The New Mexico Sun News it is either a major scoop or “Dewey Beats Truman” déjà vu 60 years later.

“Obama Wins!” is the headline of the edition on newsstands now, complete with “special collector’s edition” in red bold typeface.

snip.

election. I mean, we have full right to rub it in then. Right now is inappropriate. Plus it could moblize the hate base.

3. It's a bi-weekly publication.
And I can only agree with their choice! :)

7. Next issue: Tennessee wins Superbowl XLIII
Premature headlines like that make a publication something other than a NEWSpaper.

4. NO
This is awful. The last thing we need right now is to inspire people to root for the underdog.

9. I don't like this. The tracking polls are getting closer and while the state polls
look good--look at the dates of them--the AP began polling on the 22nd and ended on the 26th, in politics those are already old polls. Low interest undecided voters seem to be moving more to McCain than Obama because they havn't followed the race until now. We don't need to fuel more over confidence with stupid stunts like this one which could dampen our turnout. If McCain wins it will be because our own people decided that the election is won and won't turn out.

10. On boy
who is the genius who published this crap? It isn't even Nov as yet and we have a winner. I'd love to see what the article is about though. Look for the title to be tied to the Obama camp and their early celebration.

12. The paper is only published bi-weekly so
that was supposed to be their post-election issue.

13. yeah but wait until
we actually have a winner. This "me first" mentality is just plain stupid in this case because now they are going into fortune telling.
