Could McCain lose AZ?
With one week to go before Election Day, a new Arizona State University Cronkite/Eight Poll shows Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama statistically tied in Arizona.
The poll surveyed 1,019 registered voters in McCain's home state on October 23rd, 25th and 26th:

46 percent favored McCain44 percent favored Obama

The poll has a sampling error of +/- 3 percent, and marks the fourth taken by ASU/KAET-TV.

The first poll showed McCain with a 13 point lead in his home state.

1. Good grief, I sure as heck hope so... it's embarrassing
to live in a state with such history and potential - only to have it succumb to some unreasonable affiliation with McCain. And it is unreasonable.

I work in a home studio so I don't get out in traffic much (which is a good thing in Phoenix) but my housemate/partner/what-have-you does... every day, and he has seen one (count 'em ONE) McCain sign on his way to/from work. When I am out and about, I usually end up in or near Scottsdale, and I've yet to see a McCain sign... then again - I haven't seen an Obama sign, 'cept for the one in our rear window.

I hope and pray and rejoice the day that Obama carries Arizona. It makes sense in all ways to me. McCain is a shell of his former self, which is sad, but Obama is a once-in-a-lifetime leader... perhaps McCain realizes this, because nothing else makes sense regarding his acceptance of the implosion of his campaign due to idiocy and policy combined.

2. Yup,
and I bet with a Republican, he will lose 49 more states as well.
